Around the exterior of the main base you might be able to find fragments for the Stasis Rifle, Thermal Plant and Nuclear Reactor.

The hologram shows you the damage. 900m is the max depth for the Seamoth, to go deeper, you need either the Cyclops or the Prawn suit (technically, you can go without either but the Cyclops make things so, so much easier). From the last Degasi base at 500m, you can find an entrance to an area that contains the Nickel you need.
The Alien Containment can be found in the Degasi Base in the Deep Grand Reef at about 500m down.
