Community-Based Participatory Research. Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) is a participatory, cooperative process between community members and researchers in the research process. Both contribute equally to the research process and the approach requires co-learning for systems development and capacity building (Minkler, 2010).
Participatory evaluation is a part of participatory research.
