After trying all sorts of optics & RDS, I have decided to run fixed LMT iron sights on my bullpup M14. This keeps the weight to a minimum, and there are no batteries to worry about. This minimalist trend started when I finally figured out how to run the sound suppressor on my EBR without shortening the original sight radius on the 22" barrel.
