Not sure about furniture quality, since I don't have experience with Crate and Barrel customer service. But I recently purchased items from Pottery Barn and West Elm (they both belong to same company) and Had a horrible experience. Almost all the items from these 2 places have issues and calling customer service is a pain.

This small 18 inch dark walnut rustic industrial wood and metal accent table is a great looking table and fit nicely into our living room as an occasional table.
