It won't change faster because there's always someone who'll be better, the gsp isn't supposed to be grinded out, rather just a way to see how good you are with a character. I hate this system, if I want 4 mill gsp, I'm at 92,000, I'll need to win 4,000 times without losing at the rate of 1,000. Nah it's quicker than you think.If you win, you gain gsp. If you lose, you lose gsp, simple as that. The higher gsp you get, the less gsp you gain for each win and the less gsp you lose for each loss. This also means that the Elite Smash threshold rises as more people buy the game and go online, as the threshold, I believe, is around the 95th percentile or so.

Same with my joker, believe it or not. There's like 20 characters I have at around 10 or 11 million GSP because I used them once but I'm awful with them and they'd plummet to 2 million if I kept using them. Highest is Sonic at 13.5 mil. Lowest is ken at 4.5 mil.

For me, I have Pythra sitting at 10.88M GSP and Kirby sitting at 10.87M GSP at the moment (or around the top 3.33% for those characters). I consider them to be my mains as they are my highest GSP characters. I have 10-11 other characters that are around 10.3-10.4M GSP (top 8.5% for those characters).
