You would most likely have to modify a Gen 5 slide lock lever to remove the locking tab from the right side. This way the slide lock can engage on the left side without interference from the Gen 4 slide since it doesn't have the cutout. Also you need the Gen 5 Back plate cover to fit over the trigger housing. That's probably it.

A 30S slide will fit on a G30 Gen 4 frame, but I've never know anyone to actually fire it that way. The Gen 5 G17 recoil spring is longer than the Gen 1-4 plus it won't fit in a Gen 3 frame. Or you can cut a G17 frame down to use G19 magazines.
