S35VN beats S30V, but S30V beats S35VN in carboard cuts. Also, M390 is supposed to be the same as 20CV, but 20CV outperforms M390 in cut tests on cardboard, I can't speak to CATRA and sisal tests compared to other steels, but for cardboard, the rules seem to change and that's what I care about for my job.
