I have completed this takedown on True Vault Hunter Mode somewhere in the area of 100 times, both solo and with a group. After about the 5th time, it becomes a cakewalk. Also the loot isn't great except from Anathema, but the fight with Scourge is fun. You literally do not need takedown weapons to complete it.
