My "360" in my '72 Javelin (not original) is really a 5.9 which makes it a jeep engine I guess. I do not know what year it is. The cj that I needed this for is a 80 cj5 with a 304 now that had a poor placed 360 in it. The 304 is from a 72 cj5 that was crazy to wild. The 360 that was in the cj5 jumped time and the transmission broke. We rebuilt the t176 trans and are going to install the 304 but have had a terible time trying to find out how to hook up the newer alt.
